What will my child learn in HIPPY? |
Children will develop many skills in HIPPY. Some activities taught in HIPPY include follow the path and connecting the dots that help children develop eye-hand coordination skills. Listening to stories, retelling parts of stories, and acting out stories help children develop language skills. Sorting and completing a matrix to help children develop logical thinking, problem-solving, and reasoning skills. These are only a few of the activities taught in HIPPY that help children develop essential pre-requisite learning skills.
The HIPPY curriculum consists of nine (9) storybooks, thirty (30) age and developmentally appropriate curriculum packets and a set of colored shapes each year. Programs also provide other teaching supplies such as glue, scissors, pencils, and crayons.
